Zion Lutheran Church Weyburn

Bible Study

On Tuesday mornings at 10:00 Pastor Victoria leads a Bible Study on the book of Isaiah. Inspiring discussion and study are leading to a better understanding of the Gospel in daily lives. All are welcome to attend.

Women's Ministry

The women of Zion Lutheran (ZLW) strive to deepen their faith and share the love of Christ through education, fellowship and service. They meet the third Wednesday of each month at 2 pm for a Bible Study taken from the Gather Magazine for Faith and Action. These women are active within the church and also out in the community. They welcome all women to join them.

Youth and Sunday School

Sunday School

Following a children's message early in the worship service each Sunday, the children go to Sunday School. They are welcomed back at the end of the service to be part of a rhythm band for the closing hymn.

A study that includes Luther's Small Catechism, the Apostles' Creed, the books of the Bible, the Creeds and Seasons of the Church and the Sacraments is held on Sunday evenings at 7:00 for youth wishing to be confirmed. They examine and deepen the understanding of their faith, learning how they can share Christ's message with others. This group of young students is one to be a part of.

Seniors' Ministry

One of the outreach opportunities for Zion is to provide worship services at the Senior Care Homes in Weyburn as part of the Weyburn Ministerial Association. We also alternate holding communion services at these homes with the Anglican Church. In addition, pastoral visits are regularly made to senior apartment complexes and private care homes. The power of Christ's message brings comfort, strength and reassurance to the seniors in our community.
